The tables are amazing! We are thrilled. As Scott said, "We could not have imagined anything this beautiful."
I finally got my table in the house. It is perfect!!
Thanks again for all your efforts in building our table. The table is just Awesome! I don't think we could quite picture it until we had it fully assembled in the dining room. It just turned out great. I honestly don't think I've ever seen Dana so excited about a piece of furniture.

My husband and I are renovating our kitchen and I was looking for the finishing touch – something that would be unique, beautiful and make our room have personality. I found that with our table from Wood Genius. As soon as we started working with Clyde we were impressed with the attention to detail, the concern for meeting our expectations and the care given our table. From the very beginning each step was photographed and explained by Sheri via email. We looked forward to the updates and it made us want to go down to NC and work on our table too!! The process was wonderful. As our table progressed we loved the photos so much that we decided to add a bench. The bench is fantastic. It is wide and sturdy. In retrospect I wish I had gone for two benches and not done upholstered chairs on the other side. Perhaps that will be my next “Clyde Project”. I don’t think that I have ever written a review for anything but I think our table is such a work of art that I had no hesitation in writing this review. Clyde is beyond a furniture maker or even “wood working genius” – he is a true artisan. Our table is something to treasure.
Last year I began my search for a maple coffee table to match some Ethan Allen furniture I had purchased some years ago. I searched the internet and could only find the usual rectangular ones. Then I came across The Wood Genius and I knew immediately that I wanted to purchase one of Clyde’s unique coffee tables.
My experience dealing with both Sheri and Clyde was one of the upmost professionalism. The table I had chosen was unfortunately sold so Clyde spoke to me and said he could make me a custom table. Clyde sent me various photographs of pieces of ambrosia maple he had in stock for me to choose from. He marked up the photographs with detailed markings where the wood would be cut and where the beautiful turquoise would be inserted.
Being out in California I could not visit the show room but I knew instantly that both Sheri and Clyde were wonderful people and I felt at ease putting my trust in their workmanship. Sheri kept me up to date with the progress of the table. The whole process from introduction to receipt of the table went so smoothly and I received my table just before Christmas packed so very carefully in a custom made box.
I am so happy with my coffee table – it is just what I wanted; it is a beautiful piece of furniture. Thank you Sheri and Clyde for making me such a unique coffee table which I will cherish always. I would not hesitate in recommending your wonderful work.
I love the desk, it's beautiful and turned out just the way I wanted. Clyde did a wonderful job and the finish is very nice. Sheri, I really appreciate your help throughout the process. You guys are great!!
